Hi guys,
I’m going to detail my car 2mor, I’m skipping the clay part because i recently got it done before the winter and the car was parked inside in winter.
I’m going to use Zaino Z2 as a base coat, followed by Zaino CS, I’m thinking of topping it with NXT 2.0 after CS. Not sure which order i should apply Z2, CS or NXT. So i’m thinking its going to be Z2, NXT 2.0 and final coat of CS.
Also i use ap303 for my leather seats but i like to know if i can top it up with Zaino leather conditional because of the smell?

thanks,

Well, NXT is also a sealent rather than wax, so topping Zaino with it may not give you the desired effect if you are looking for a wax type protection. And Zaino addicts will probably keel over if you tell them that, lol. I’m not familiar with Zaino, I use Meguiars so I can’t comment on the seqence you have. I’d say follow the usual five steps (http://www.squidoo.com/showcardetailing just sub the proper Zaino product). As far as skipping the clay-once you wash and dry, run your fingers very lightly over the paint and see if it still feels like glass. If not, I’d clay at least the horizontal surfaces like the hood, roof and trunk lid. I clay mine every spring because for whatever reason, even though it is garaged and given a final wash and wax before it’s put away, it still seems to need it.
