leaving the cable will not lower the trade in value just tuck them away, unless they are good cables it might be worth taking them out for you to use in another vehicle save you money on install later. its up to you
I would personally remove them and sell, or use them on your next car. As you are selling to a dealer – he couldn’t give a monkey’s anyway as he will probably pass it on to auction unless it’s a nice fairly new car they can stick on their forecourt.
If he has already looked at your car and valued it you have nothing to worry about – however, if he still has to look at it and value it, I would either hide them REALLY well, or cut them out, as if the dealer thinks you might have been a bit of a “boy racer” he will try and get your car for as little as possible off you!
Last car I exchanged was modified, I left the cables in and explained to the dealer that it will speed up the sale if the buyer knows S/He can fit a fat stereo without paying a professional to keep onto the car for 3 hours. I saw it on the road 2 weeks later.
Agree with previous answer. Take them out, and it will save you money with your next car. There’s no reason why the next owner would want them anyway.
best to remove them as the next buyer would suspect that the cars been modified, best to present a standard car
