Q&A: who sells the best car bras?

i need a new bra for my ’98 chevy camaro
i googled, but they all vary a lot in price so i was wondering if anyone who’s ordered one can recommend a site or autoparts store with good quality car bras. THANKS!

You don’t want one of those. Here’s why: They have a tendency to loosen up & eventually start to scuff the paint. Especially around the edges. My local auto accessories center has a computer that can custom cut a very thin film of adhesive plastic to your cars design. They place it over the front end to protect it from all those nasty road hazards. You can barely tell it’s there. It’s also transparent so your car looks nice all the time instead of this black bra attached to the front. Yes it does cost more, but it’s worth it imo. Call around your area & see if anyone does that. Usually the same places that sell truck accessories & tops carry products for cars too. Just a suggestion.

I’ve seen more paint jobs ruined by bras than by any other single item. The manufacturers even admit to it if you read the instructions which tell you to use extra wax cycles to fix places where the bra rubs
and scuffs the paint. They also tell you to remove it when it rains as a wet bra will do even more damage to the paint. And they caution you about driving on dirt roads with the bra in place as the dust and small gravel will get under it and literally destroy the paint.

believe me you don,t want 1 because they are nothing but dirt catchers and they will rust out the hood or make the paint fade. my neighbor had 1 on her grand-am and it ate holes through the hood.
