Which Is The Best Car Audio Equipment Manufacturer?

Which company do you think makes the best car audio equipment? and I mean head units, tweeters, subs, speakers (the whole system!)
thanks

A:                its definately easier to break this up into categories but all in all i like planet audio and pioneer

A:                 I’m sorry but all these answers suck. For the price and range of everything and the amount of options and quality.
ALPINE, ALPINE, ALPINE.
For the past couple of years I have been buying and selling different stereo equipment. I have owned Pioneer, Eclipse, and Clarion head units.
My mom got me a new Alpine CDA 9886 for Christmas and the usability and sound quality were better than all the other decks i have owned. it also looks the best.
I have a pair of Focal Polyglass coaxial speakers that I paid $300 for. After breaking them in and owning them for about a year I decided I didn’t like them so after installing the Alpine deck and really enjoying it I went out and bout a pair of type r coaxial speakers from Best Buy for $150. Half the price of the Focals. They are not broken in yet and are being powered with 50 watts a channel even though they rms at 100 watts a channel. The type R’s are so much better. Basically in every way. I have also owned Pioneer speakers, Kenwood speakers, MTX amp, Kicker subwoofer, oooolllldddd Alpine V-power amp etc. So far Alpine seems to be the leader. I just wish they were not so huge because liking Alpine means that I have to like Best Buy for carrying them. Obviously there are many brands that are better, but for the price Alpine is a true contender.
Trust me, I am NOT an Alpine Fanboy.
In fact if I was rich I probably would not have a single Alpine component in my car stereo.
Hope this helped.

A:               do not get ALPINE youd be crazy to buy one they are usless the speakers always blow and the radios always turn off and skip cds i strongly urge you to get pioneer the best quality ever!!!! trust me i no

A:                Fusion by far. I got it in my car and you’ve never heard anything like it. The sound is clear and the bass is imence!!

A:                 You decide. Go to crutchfeild.com and go thougrh their site purchase based on the RATINGS . not best sellers. Also most people have to go by their budget too. Get the higest rated product for the amount of dollars you are ready to spend . You also can buy just the the front or back speakers now an buy the other ones later to keep inside your current budget. The all time best makers are not listed on crutchfield.com Mc Intosh and Nakamichi. A used Mcintosh deck will set you back about $1500.00 !! You can find Nakamichi decks and speakers on ebay new and used. Get new Nakamichi products. They are reasonable in price and are superior in performance. Any Alpine product would be a great choice as well. They rank at crutchfeild.com among the best. Also Infinity are way up there too…Bottom line , don’t listen to 2 or three people for advice on this blog . Go to crutchfeild.com or other audio rating sites for ratings of the HIGHEST RANKING and not ‘best sellers’ Try ‘audioreview.com they may have reviews for car stuff though Im not sure. My advice …Don’t buy to have a friggin loud ear bustin set up. That’s for idiots..buy to have the best sound INSIDE you car that you can personally enjoy

A:              What??? fusion?? Their backing is made out of aluminum, the speaker magnets are weak, i dont see how their that good.
Now, for quality and price, sony xplod has some really good stuff (player and speaker wise). MTX speakers are nice.
for amps, rockford fosgate, the best amps you could get for the money ( they under-rate their amps, and will usually put out an extra 20 watts), sonys are very good too.
and for subs, JL’s, the best subs you can get for the money. Sonys are good, jackhammers

A:             well…
i had pioneer which lasted a good few years then it sadly died and NOW!! WHOO my sony has blooooo me away!!
go with the sony but for the speakers use bose are the are better for the sound and sub quality…
