Hi,I did the following:
Q&A: Where do I connect a cable in a car cd player so I can connect my phone to use as an audio playing device?
The pictures have nothing to do with the content!!
I am wanting to use my phone’s mp3 player to play music using my car speakers. What part of the cd player would I plug in to in order to get the music output through the car speakers? Would I use the RCA ports usually used for subwoofers? Help me out here, please.

Your CD player needs to be equipped with an auxiliary input to play an external device through the speakers. The RCA plugs on the back are (probably) outputs, not inputs; plugging the device into them won’t work and might damage something.
Some head units have an aux input on the front, some have it on the back, some allow you to purchase a separate adapter to get an auxiliary input, and some aren’t equipped with it at all. If you tell us the brand and model of the CD player we can give you more information; or you can consult your owner’s manual.

kAEZOO is right, if your unit have aux input connect it there, but usually you will ahve to buy an adapter designed to your unit and the device., or you can use a FM modulator to add an aux input to your unit througn the antenna cable.
