Personally, I don’t either. If I had millions of dollars to spend, maybe. lol But, I’m not going to pay 2x the price of something I can get that isn’t “organic.”

Well on their way to becoming the de facto standard for premium pet products in the pet specialty channel and other upscale venues, natural and organic pet products continue as a top-growth market segment despite the 2008 economic downturn, registering annual percentage growth in the double digits. Doing their part, all of the major mass-market and cross-channel marketers are now fully tapping into the trend, keeping pressure on smaller marketers to scale up their product offerings even further. At the same time, new contenders continue to enter the field, including under celebrity-backed brands like Dog Whisperer (Cesar Millan) and Nutrish (Rachael Ray), with Ellen DeGeneres having purchased a stake in the already well established Halo Purely for Pets.

No. If my Whippets are happy with it then it is ok with me. I cannot afford to buy eco-friendly/organic products for myself so why waste what I haven’t got for something my ladies may not like.

The only thing that im really worried about was plastic bags for dog poop.I watched something awhile back talking about what plastic dog waste bags are doin to the landfills…billions of bags of dog poop just sitting.
So i made the eco-friendly decision to use Bio degradable doggie waste bags.In 45 to 60days the bags completely decompose.I ordered in bulk..600 bags for 63 dollars. Its better to buy in bulk or you could pay close to a dollar a bag.Im not really concerned with anything else eco-friendly as far as pet products go.But this is a small thing I can do as a pet owner i think is great.I think we all should try to do at least one thing.
