Q&A: What is the downside of washing my car in a brushless auto car wash and hand waxing it afterwards?

I hand washed my car for 7 yrs and when I traded it in it wasn’t worth anymore than a car that was auto washed. But what downside is there?

no down side except for more work.Dealers look at the book value of a car when it’s traded they don’t care how it’s washed if they have to when they get them in they buff them.
