Hi,I did the following:

First you get your car wet, soap it up, then squirt it off.
Take all the trash out of the inside, vacuum it and maybe an air freshener.
Once it’s clean, you want to keep it clean. Whenever you have trash on the ground, pick it up and throw it out. Clean the outside whenever it looks gross.

Pick a day to clean your car once a week and STICK TO IT! I clean mine every Friday. Since I do it often, it’s dead easy.
I start at home, and take a small basket or bag out to the car, and retrieve all the stuff my kids have forgotten in the car over the week… hair clips, homework, a library book or two. I take those inside, then I run over to the DIY car wash place.
Next I throw out all the trash. I have one of those nice cloth trash bags that are made for cars, so I’ll empty that out and pick up any stragglers.
75 cents to vacuum, and then into the car wash and soap it down good. Then I spray off the foam brush doo-dad (it gets grit on it from other cars, I don’t want my car to get all scratched up) Brush the car REALLY good, then rinse.
If I’ve got enough time left on the wash meter, I’ll spray on some wax and do the spot-free rinse, but that’s just an extra.
Once a month, I’ll leave my car running in the car wash, and use the Tire and Engine cleaner setting to clean up my engine. Then I’ll take it home and clean the insides of the windows and windshield.
Once you get started on a routine, it’ll come easy.
Good luck!
Ivy
