I think it’s an advertisement for your company.

Otherwise you wouldn’t have needed to mention where you’re located.

Further, I had my car completely detailed, took 3-4 hours, full shampooing, windows, wheels, trunk, wheel wells, vents, glove compartment; absolutely everything. All details that could be thought of.

Three gentleman, all working at one time.

Outside was washed twice.Once at beginning, to get all the heavy dirt, then a second, detailed washing. Then waxed. While detailing, they offered to get new windshield wipers for me, if I wanted. No cost to me.

Cost . Gave the guys a tip.

I’d have to say based on that, and that I’ve had them come back and do another car….0 is absurd.

And if you think about it, all it is, is cleaning a car. That’s nothing a normal person can’t do. There’s no reason to pay someone over 0, for anything someone can do themselves. Just basic rule of thumb.

These prices are good prices for all the work performed, but you can save money by doing it yourself.

These prices are OK if you are a beginner. For all that work I would be at 0 – 400 easily. And I don’t do engines.

Stay out of people’s trunks unless they ask you to clean it. A lot people store stuff in their trunk they do not want inside the car. Ask the client first if they want the trunk done, then inspect it with the client and ask about any items that might need to be removed or handled by you.

Engine cleaning is very risky even with normal precautions. If you screw up something under the hood, the problems are serious and expensive to fix.

Headlight restoration is something I get for as an option. I NEVER throw it into a detail for . I’d raise my price of the Super Detail to 0-250. At 0 you are giving it away.

Funny you mention the polish specifically but nothing else. Most people do not care you will be using overpriced Pinnacle Advanced Swirl Remover (and, yes, I’ve been using Pinnacle products for over 12 years). That swirl remover is a little mild to use as a one step polish. For my one steps, I use Meguiars M86 or Menzerna SIP P083. A lot more bite, better defect removal, and they finish down nicely.

Your prices are OK for a teenager just starting out but consider how you are going to raise your prices as you build a clientele and expenses rise.

Also, where is your simple hand wash price? What about wash and wax? Those services are the most common and will generate you steady revenue between Full and Super Detail jobs.
