This is pretty cool. I own a 1959 Cadillac. The interior has already been redone in vinyl, but my ac broke, and I live in AZ… so I decided to make some covers out of cloth. This really helped out. Thanks!

@BigManlyMan4 …Hey thats a good idea….not really a big deal for this bike since I probably wont ride it to hard, but I’ll try that out! Thanks for the tip!

Dude you used the slippery vinyl. Your ass will slip around so bad. Next time I would use the outdoor grippy vinyl. Also Boston rocks!

@n2scouting2…Yeah…at most fabric shops they have blocks of foam that you can cut and shape to fit. Thats what I’m going to have to do with those old Yamaha’s I just picked up. I’ll have some videos of them and repairing the seat aswell.

What do you do if the foam is shredded? Can it be replaced as well?

LOL where did the oil leak from? incase you’re not sure about this i’ll warn you, the drain plug under the crankcase is NOT the large 16mm nut near the kickstarter, do not loosen that nut or else you will release the kickstart return spring inside the engine which means you’d have to split the cases to connect it ! not fun.. The drain plug is the smaller bolt(sometimes allen head) located near the back away from the kickstart side.

Glad it worked out good for you….yeah I had the MX all ready for a test ride, then went out the next morning and all the oil leaked out of it, always something!
