97 grand caravan pulling a 79 starcraft tent trailer. Need to know how to add a battery and also get it to recharge while traveling down road. So as when we set up it’s charged.

You need a battery isolator to do this. Go to auto supply and they can help you get the proper one and how to install it. They come with instructions. Not difficult to do.
