Starting a car washing business in your neighborhood is actually pretty easy. If you have someone who you know very well that would let you clean their car and give referrals, than you’re all set. Just make some flyers on the computer, advertising what areas of the car you clean, what products to use (Meguiers and Mothers is the best) And list your prices and obviously name and phone number.
Do’s and Don’ts
-Wash car from the top down ( this prevents grime from the bottom from getting on the cleaner part of the paint and scratching it)
-Wash in a fast pace, but thorough too.
-Be courteous of their belongings
Also, make sure not to charge too much. I charge for a basic exterior and for interior. If they want wax, I add . My exterior contains, wash windows, tire shine, chrome/black trim polish. Interior includes vacuum, trim and dash cleaner, and interior windows. Shampooing is extra . Good Luck!!!
