Q&A: Makeshift or actual *carseat cover* for my 1996 Chrysler Sebring Convertible?
The pictures have nothing to do with the content!!
Hi, I have some rips in the front 2 car seats for my green exterior, tan interior 1996 Sebring Convertible. I am looking to make the car aesthetically acceptable without spending much money. Short of reupholstering the front 2 seats, do you have any suggestions for a cheap place or website to get seat covers or otherwise a cheap way to create my own seat covers, perhaps out of another item or material? Your help is much appreciated- I am at a loss here. Thanks!
Checked walmart- walmart did not seam to have any viable options

Your local parts house will have them or can order them for you, heck even Wal-Mart may have them hope this helps.

check out jcwhitney.com they have them available from several different manufacturers and several different price ranges.
A good set of more expensive covers is probably still going to be less expensive than having them reupholstered.
Also, check around some salvage yards for good seats, or maybe even ebay (but try to find local listings, or be sure of the shipping price before buying there). A good salvage yard is LKQ, they have yards all across the country and can have them shipped in if the local yard doesn’t have them http://www.lkqcorp.com/home/home.asp
