my car’s headlights are so old that they became unclear.. i want to restore its new look… can anyone suggest any chemicals/substance or headlight cleaner brand to use?

if their that dingy,a sos pad with LOTS of water so as not to scratch the glass will work.if theres moisture on the inside its easier to simply replace them cuz most are a sealed unit. if its an antique or old vintage go to “hemmings” and they can help.

There is 3 way to clean them I know of
#1 tooth past
#2 Goop, the hand cleaner
#3 plastic cleaner from the hardware store

The answer depends on how far gone the lenses are. If the dulling is on the outside of the lens, there are products out there for cleaning headlights, or some automotive cleaners, like paint restore, or waxes, will work OK, if you cannot find any headlight cleaner. If the lens itself is dulling/yellowing, or if you cannot get the headlight to your satisfaction, you may need new headlight assemblies. If you have some pictures you could post a link to, I could give a better reccomendation
