Question: Purchasing a spare tire for my car?
The pictures have nothing to do with the content!!

I need to buy a spare tire, and I was wondering can I just buy a tire? Or do I have to buy both the wheel and tire?
My step-dad would be the one changing the tire if I were to get a flat. If that matters.

it would be quite difficult to change a tyre without wheel,go to your nearest scrapyard for the wheel

A tire by itself is useless. It needs to be mounted on a rim. I would go to a salvage yard for a spare tire already mounted on a rim. Expect it to cost about -.

find a wheel that goes to your car, you should be able to get one on ebay for or so, then take it to the tire store and get a tire mounted, then put that in your trunk
or you can just buy a donut (small spare) on ebay
