Q&A: If when vacuuming under your couch you encounter a Life Saver stuck to the carpet, do you pry it up?
The pictures have nothing to do with the content!!
Or just ignore it because it’s REALLY stuck and you’re going to put the sofa back over it anyway.
And if you pry it up, what is the best way?

Scissors, as it will need to be cut out if it’s in there good. If you leave it, you will attract ants.

Take a hair dryer and blow hot air underneath the lifesaver where it’s stuck to the carpet to soften the “glue”. I’m just guessing here, but if you get it hot enough, it should come out without pulling too many carpet fibers. It will be hot, so use pliers or tongs to pull it up.
You can also get a set of pliers and crush it into tiny pieces and vacuum them up.

if you pull it you may pull the carpet fibers out, get a pair of scissors and cut it out.

Take a paper towel and saturate it with water.
Press the wet paper towel over the Life Saver. Let it sit for about a half an hour.
The Life Saver should come right up.
Use another wet paper towel and let it sit on the residue for about 15 mintues. Then wipe up the residue.
