Well um if you leave streaks then it’s your drying tow that’s leaving the streaks, do you squeeze the water out of the tow after you dry a section of the car. That might be the reason or do you go around the car to see if there are streak or extra spots you missed. Maybe you just hurry and try to get it done fast. Laterz

wash the car on a cloudy day if you cannot wash in the shade as the sun will scorch the paint and leave soap and water residue

use a decent car shampoo and cleaners

clean wheels and rubber first then rinse the car with cold water then shampoo with warm water working from top down rinse off after with a hose do this once or twice depending on the state originally.

dry the car with chamois or towel and the glass then polish / wax it with a decent polish you can tell when a polish is due as the water wont bead or run off easy but i normally polish each time i wash do this dont do this in direct sun then buff it off after it has dried to a haze a good tip here is to avoid bumpers and trim if its different material

clean the glass with glass cleaner

you can treat the tyres and bumpers to a shine too

go clean!!
