Q&A: how to polish a car?

Sup guys,
I’m picking up my new car next week but i wont be detailing it for another month. Just waiting for the snow to go:(
So far I ordered Z-2, JFX, Z-6,Z-18, I know you’re suppose to Wash with Dawn, than use Z-18(clay) wash again, useZ-2 with jfx, and use Z6 at last.
On zaino site they say Z2 is a polish but many say its a sealant but anyways i like to polish my car. it’s a white and want to know which polish do you guys reccomend on a white car and when should i apply polish? Should it be before Z2 and how many coats of Polish should i do? How do you apply Polish?

i use a liquid soap and wax. ( wash and wax). past wax, and buffers create pain and suffering.
