Q&A: How to clean my car cd player?

Ok, so I just bought a used car about 2 weeks ago and the cd player works, but it will only play 1 cd. I’ve tried playing about 5 or 6 other cds and it will only play the Pussycat Dolls cd. I think it just needs to be cleaned, because I know my cds play fine in other stereos. Any ideas? I appreciate it!

just go to target or any store and get those cds that clean the cd players and that will du. thats if the cd player is not mest up. its only like 5-10 dollers

yeah theres a cd cleaner at like walmart its a cd that u put in ur cd player and it cleans all the different stuff

Your taste in music is terrible, but anyway. Get a CD cleaning disc from an electronics store like Radio Shack or a dept store like Walmart. Put a few drops of regular alcohol 70% rubbing alcohol on the tiny brush on the CD cleaning disc. Put into the CD. Run the cleaning cycle. Do this 3 times and then try to play a good CD. Be sure your CDs are not scratched or dirty, else they won’t play. And consider upgrading your taste in music!
