Wash your soft top at least once a month (or when it is dusty or dirty) with a non-detergent-based auto shampoo. If your top is not dirty, rinse it thoroughly with plenty of cool water. Make sure the shampoo you use does not contain gloss-enhancing oils. If the shampoo contains oil, the top will absorb the oil and become a dust ……..

only the outside and wash it with soap when you wash the car and once a year you can scrub it with a brush and comet.

Haartz, the manufacturer of your top material recommends only Ragg Topp products to clean and protect your top.
Wash your top with whatever soap you use to wash your car. Avoid any strong cleansers like bleach, white sidewall cleaners and the like. Never use any abrasive cleansers like Comet. they will all take life from your top.
Once every month clean your top and treat it with Ragg Topp.
Clean only the outside.
IMHO, of course.
