How Much Is It For A Car Audio Installation?

i had my friend (who is an expert on car audio) install my bran new kenwood stereo. he did an excellent job. he told me he would leave it up to me on how much i was going to pay him. i don’t want to rip him off or over pay him. help!

    throw him 50 bucks…if he gripes…tell him you could have gotten free installation at ABC warehouse (had you bought the unit there)…..and these days…everyone is an expert….get him a hooker and a six pak….lol

    If he just did a basic Head Unit install, I would say around $30 to $40.
    Installing a Head Unit is really simple. Its not rocket science.

    if he’s your friend….nothing,maybe 20-30 bucks if u said u were gonna hook him up before he did it,in canada it cost 50 bucks for professional install.

    i did mine for $300 at radio shack .so since he is ur buddy a $50 or $80
    is more than enough i think

    Pros may charge $75/Hr. Are you able to respect your friend better than a stranger?

    usually pros charge about 80 to 100 dollars per hour
