Does anybody know of a website or forum that will help me out with at home car maintenance? I am looking to know when to change certain fluids, what fluid brands are the best, what I should and shouldn’t do at home, what I should make sure my mechanic is looking for. I just recently bought a new Honda Civic 2004 and would like to take good care of it. What I am really looking for is a forum but a standard website would do as well.

A:Change the oil and filter every 3000 miles. The air filter every 6-9000 miles. Use a good oil (I use Valvoline Max-life) Keep you tires properly inflated. Flush the cooling system every other year. Flush the power steering and transmission 50,000.You should be good to go.
Shops like Midas will check your car over free with and oil change.
