Q&A: Help with car detailing process!?
The pictures have nothing to do with the content!!
Okay here is what I’m going to do to my black car:
1. Wash with Meguiars Gold Class Wash
2. Meg Clay Bar with the spray
3. Wash again with Gold Class Wash (is this step needed?)
4. SwirlX my whole car
5. Mothers Carnauba Cleaner Wax (do I need to? is this the right time to do it?)
6. Meg #7 polish
7. Gold Class wax
What do you guys think? Now my only concern here is if I should even use the cleaner wax? Am I supposed to use the cleaner wax before polishing and waxing?

how to detail car
looks like you got too much stuff
all one really needs is soap water a rag
wax car like three or four times a year
remove old wax once a year maybe
go have your car detailed by a person who does it every day watch what he does
you wil see your doing alot for nothing your not detailing your washing and waxing

cleaner wax you dont needd
cleaner waxes are
(very mild)paint cleaners/polish/wax all in one
and since you already have all those (swirlx,#7,gold class)
its pointless
and it would remove the polishing oils swirlx leaves behind
and would prevent #7 polish from contact with the paint.
and step 3 is optional, doesnt hurt either way
1.wash
2.clay
3.swirlx
4.polish
5.wax
i mainly use cleaner wax
in ares where you wouldnt want to do every step
such as door jambs, trunk jambs, etc..
