Have You Ever Gotten Rid Of Something By Just Leaving It Outside?

Not throwing it away, not donating it to goodwill, but just leaving it in a public area? I had a really nice vacuum that I didn’t have the space in the car to take to a goodwill and I didn’t want to throw it away since it was perfectly working . . . so I just left it in the parking lot all day knowing someone would take it soon since that’s pretty much the nature of our society nowadays … and voila it was taken by the end of the day, hopefully by someone who needed it (or maybe maintenance took care of it, who knows, lol), have you ever thought to do that?

I wouldn’t do that because I don’t want my property to look like white trash.

Yes,my stove! It was so dirty but it worked.( I got a new self cleaning one) I set it by the road and it was gone in 15 minutes. The next week I set my old sectional couch in the same spot and it was gone in 20 minutes. I am seriously thinking about setting my sister in law out there next!!

Friends & I had this major 4 day yard sale last summer. On the last day we put “free” signs on everything we hadn’t sold and didn’t want. Only one person took one of the items.
At the end of day we carried all this unwanted stuff to the end of the drive-way for the trashman to collect the next day.
The next morning I went to take one last bag of trash to the curb and was shocked to find that 75% of the yard sale left-overs had vanished!
Guess we should have just put them there the morning before if we wanted folks to take the free stuff.
    We’ll know next time! {;o)
