default Grille GuardsHERD Fleet Spec AeroFLT for Kenworth T 800

Officially released on June 8th, 2010 is the new HERD AeroLT for the 2011 Ford Super Duty F-350. Inspired by HERD’s huge rig semi-truck grill guards, this bumper is a correct multi-effect protection bull bar against animal collisions. A heavy duty steel bracket bolted to the frame rails of the truck increases structural strength and the mirror finished aluminum also adds killer looks to your truck. Do not settle for steel bumpers that will rust over time, deal with your new 2011 F-250/F-350 and by yourself to a genuine HERD moose bumper.

@CatJohnMek every truck should have a grille guard or a brush guard. they make it look nicer, strong sexy steel and they help for protection and look beast. only exceptions are if you got a show truck, or you got a high enough lift that youd run over the deer or your bumper would take care of it. say you got a 8 inch or 9 inch lift and you got a bumper guard, well your lifted so much your just gonna catch that deers neck and he is going under for sure.

@TheJimmy7060 speed/angle are irrelevant, you hit a moose going over 40miles/hour, that moose will crush your truck at the windshield.
its for highway drivers and I bet the majority of buyers are driving stock pickups lol (not including the heavy truck drivers of course),for those who are afraid of hitting a moose and ur driving stock pickup, dont waste your money on a bumper UNLESS you have the lift kit, even then that shit will rock your world.

@brknspacebar True to an extent. It depends on your speed and angle of contact. A moose has a shoulder height of 8-10 feet so yes it does stand taller than the truck at stock – get a lift kit and don’t worry about the windshield.

@TheJimmy7060 a moose’s shoulder height is higher than that fords hood…..the bumper might work for semi’s but i can’t see how it will stop a moose from hitting your windshield

The thing about hitting a moose with your truck is that it don’t matter if you got a nice bumper or not….that bitch is still going through your windshield.
