family carPick a Car, Any Car 2

The Reads have to replace the family car because the mechanic told them it would cost too much to fix it. Arthur likes the family car and fights to keep it from being sold to the mechanic. He makes a call to Car Talk, hoping they know how to fix it, and find out the problem, much to the mechanic’s disappointment. Tom and Ray Magliozzi (the Car Talk guys) guest star as Click and Clack Tappet from Car Talk. All credits goes to Marc Brown and the Cookie Jar Group.

family car|Best New Family Cars to Own

The family cars need to be spacious and must have the required safety features. Such cars are expected to have a good fuel economy. There are however, many other features which can be found in these cars. These are complete cars, not meant for any single purpose (sports, luxury, etc). The designing and overall development of family cars is therefore, carried out, taking into account a variety of features. Let us obtain information about the best family cars.

2011 Volkswagen Golf

Fair Purchase Price: ,390

It may not seem an obvious family car to most Americans, but the editors at KBB.com point out that in Europe wagons and hatchbacks are as popular as sedans in the United States, making the Volkswagen Golf as much a family car as the Toyota Camry. Considering its low starting price, hatchback versatility, true European driving dynamics and a stylish interior, many families will find the 2011 Volkswagen Golf practical, affordable and fun choice for a family car.

2011 Kia Sorento

Fair Purchase Price: ,478

The 2011 Kia Sorento ranks high in a category Kelley calls “the two-and-a-half-row segment.” For drivers who don’t use the third row on a daily basis and don’t plan to put adults in the “way-back,” the 2011 Kia Sorento is a “more affordable, more fuel-efficient, more maneuverable alternative.” It’s got ride, handling and interior appeal, all of which combined to get it on this list of Top 10 Family Cars.

2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Fair Purchase Price: ,445

The 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee is a five-seater traditional SUV, and is as rugged as is expected from the name, but with finer details like a 5-inch longer wheel base (shared with the next-generation Mercedes-Benz ML electronic gadgets). It’s also got a power rear lift gate and a blind spot warning system. The recently redesigned fourth-generation Grand Cherokee is still more than competent for off-roading, but also improved for city driving. The editors at KBB take note that its “elevated level of refinement—most noticeable in its well-appointed cabin—propel Jeep’s flagship to new levels of excellence.”

2011 Hyundai Sonata

Fair Purchase Price: ,145

This mid-size sedan makes it onto the list due to its mix of style, quality and value. The Hyundai Sonata, brand-new for 2011, is packed with safety features, has a superior warranty, and is also available as a hybrid model. For drivers who need to transition from parent to professional and back again in one day with one car, the 2011 Hyundai Sonata tech gadgets are an easy choice.

2011 Honda Odyssey

Fair Purchase Price: ,980

Dubbed by Kelley’s Blue Book editors as the “gold standard of minivans,” the Honda Odyssey is a natural pick for this list of family vehicles. The 2011 Honda Odyssey is designed for surprisingly responsive handling and maintaining a comfortable highway ride. The kids won’t notice either way, though, because the extra-wide 16-inch rear video display can serve as two side-by-side monitors and show two movies at once.

The different cars described in the article above, should help in choosing the best family car for 2011. These electronic gadgets from different brands have different features which make them suitable for family; spacing and fuel efficiency are amongst the important of these features. The information presented above should therefore, prove to be useful.

I hope you enjoy my articles. If you want to know more information on the cool electronic gadgets, tech gadgets, product reviews, and perfect gift ideas for gadgets for men, GiftsOrGadgets is your choice.

@TheHappinessFaerie I know how U feel. Cars do die and they cost a lot of money to replace. I don’t mean 2 be rude, but sometimes I get very strict at my mom when she litters in the green Toyota Highlander. I ALWAYS come prepared with Blink Trash Tossers litter bags, because my dad and I don’t like to board dirty cars.

It looks like the Read car may be a vintage or out-of-production model – like a Delorean – which would explain why the mechanic was trying to con them.
