Elvira’s Macabre Mobile

Elvira’s 1959 Ford Thunderbird AKA "Macabre Mobile"

This came as a 1:24 scale plastic 1958 Thunderbird Model kit which I modified to be a 1959 Thunderbird. I removed the 4 pieces of trim on the door and the Thunderbird script from the front fenders. Painted it black and did the interior in a faux leopard skin look.

This one you can see reflections in the paint. Also the antenna being angled back like it was in the Movie. Although, I think, the one in the movie was bent further back.

1941 Studebaker Skyway Series Sedan-Coupe

The Sedan-Coupe was a new body style for 1941, and this Skyway Series model was the newest of the new. The Skyway models featured new parking lights atop the front fenders and lacked the two pieces of horizontal trim (often enclosing a second color) on the sides of the car. Additionally, this model sported a new curved one-piece windshield.
