I’M LEANING TOWARDS BUYING ONE OF THESE TRUCKS, THEY ARE BOTH EXTENDED CABS, HAVE 4X4, HAVE LEATHER SEATS, HAVE A BACK SEATS. ALL OF WHICH I WANT IN A TRUCK. THEY BOTH HAVE REALLY NICE INTERIOR AND WERE TAKEN WELL CARE OF, I JUST NEED OPINIONS OR BASIC FACTS OF WHY I SHOULD CHOOSE ONE OVER THE OTHER. BELOW ARE SOME BASIC SPECS ABOUT THE 2 TRUCKS:

I would go with the 2004. Because Ford completely redesigned the F-150 in 2004 and they upgraded everything. I personally like the looks of the 2004-2008 F-150 better than the 1997-2003 F-150.

2004 with the upgrades, the 03′s don’t have the same bed bolts (Rememeber the commercial with the guy that walks under the F-150?)

Buyer beware of heated seats though. If you are trying at having kids…steer away from heated seats as they have the ability to lower your sperm count so I’ve heard.
