@kaimi360 I have had a car that has done this . Chances are you will never fix it . The amount of money you would have to shell out for a rebuild on that trans , you could buy a better car .

My advice is to ride it till it quits and get something else .

My 1996 Buick has this problem. It sometimes happens all the time then for some reason it does not happen for a few days. It happens while I am driving on the road as well as when I have stopped and I step on the gas peddle, it does not accelerate.I lift up on the peddle a few times then it will accelerate. The other day I was driving and all of a sudden the transmission would not accelerate and I had to pull over on the side of the road for 15 minutes before accelerating.

Your videos are awesome. I can easily understand what you intended to say and they are so helpful. I have no problems with my 1996 Infiniti G20 transmission other than it sounds kind of rough when going into reverse. I had the transmission fluid checked, it is full and not leaking. What could be the problem?

Don’t watch this waste of time, here is how you do a tune-up: Get the repair manual for your vehicle, find the maintenance schedule section, read it, perform maintenance according to schedule. Need help doing specific tasks? Search for those tasks on youtube and avoid eHow videos due to poor organization.

In the old days of Tires you did it that way, Todays tires are made to roll one way, so you would move the front tires on one side to the back on the same side and the back tires would be moved to the front. Ask any Firestone dealer…
