Q&A: Car cleaning?9 Car cleaning?
The pictures have nothing to do with the content!!

I need to clean my car…badly, just on the inside though. I want it to look like brand new. Which shouldnt be hard because its only an ’01. Please give me suggestions for the carpet? Its all wet with water and pop, and I have no money. So is there any everyday items that would work really good?

well, no need to go over budget, but you will need:
- old towels
- vacuum
- baking soda

First blot the water to dry the carpet as much as possible. If you have a wet/dry vacuum, then vacuum the water out. This process may take a few days, depending on how wet the carpet is. Once it’s blotted dry, sprinkle it with baking soda. Let it sit and then vacuum. You should really invest in a can of carpet cleaner (Woolite which is not expensive). At the very least, you will need to invest in a freshener as Febreze. Keep the windows open to air it out. Hope this helps!

I worked as a detailer for a few years and for pop and juice stains we used degreaser and a scrub brush. Then wet with water and wipe the best you can with a old rag. You can also go to some gasstations with carwash and for 2 or 3 dollars use the shampooers there. They will help.
