Q&A: Can you mix different brands of car oil?
The pictures have nothing to do with the content!!

I got my car oil changed by a mechanic, I don’t remember what kind of oil they put in it.

If the oil level drops a bit and I want to top it off, does it matter what brand/type of oil I put in it now?

Its does not really matter if the car is a shitbox that loses oil

Not in the least. Just match weight and type (synthetic or natural)

only if you mix the natural (old type) of oil with synthetic oil
