Question: Can I use a clay bar on a car w/o a clear coat?
The pictures have nothing to do with the content!!

My car doesn’t have a clear coat, and I’m unsure how to clean/maintain/detail it because I’ve always worked on cars with a clear coat.

Will a clay bar rub/scratch the paint off? Is there a certain polish/wax I need to use?

All help will be appreciated.

BTW I use meguiars products…..

clay bar will be ok on your car you might want to try Turtle Wax liquid clay bar it worked well on my car. wax as usual using two coats

Clay bar will not hurt your finish, use the supplied lubricant. Clay bar only removes surface contaminants, it will not remove any factory paint. I would follow the clay bar with a polish and then a wax. Meguiars makes both.
