A 1915 Jeffery, with a special body made by the W.S. Seaman Company parked in front of the company’s Milwaukee plant. The Seaman business manufactured bodies for a range of early producers of automobiles, trucks, buses, and ambulances. The Jeffery was an automobile make manufactured by the Thomas B. Jeffery Company of Kenosha. The business was much better known for its Rambler line, but soon after the death of founder Thomas Jeffery, his heir renamed the product in his memory. Ultimately each the Jeffery and Seaman companies became part of Nash Motors.
