Question: Best configuration for RTXM vehicle? How to present it to the officers so I can get it?

Here’s what i got: a HMMWV with two mounted QEAMs (Maybe using a cordless drill to expediate the antennae erection even further) using the COM-201B instead of the feed-cones. A generator (Not sure what size I will need but I’d like it to be as small as possible maybe even a local-purchase instead of NSN-order but it’s got to be able to run two 92 systems a battery charger and a MTS as well.)

I’d like to know what ideas you have for the ideal RTXM/Jump-toc/just-plain-commo-badassery HMMWV (our shop is only authorized 1 truck so it has to be HMMWV)

The biggest problem I have as far as getting the gear is that QEAMs cost about 5k ea and the 201′s are 2k ea… the HMMWV mounts for the queams are a 1 ea item (ridiculous) and our BN leadership would much rather spend their money on Plasma TV’s and expensive BASE-X tents for the TOC so budgets tight and i have to fight for the 10k worth of gear that’s actually useful. I’m an E-4 without much pull so i have to be very convincing… any idea’s?
