1954 Willys Aero-Eagle (Canada)

Note the differences between this car and the one shown in the similar U.S. ad: the taillights are of 1953 style, the name "Willys" is on the front fender instead of "Eagle DeLuxe", and the stainless trim panel does not appear on the "C" pillar of the roof. It does have the one-piece windshield and the "eyelid" style headlight bezels of the U.S. ’54 models, though. Also the Kaiser L-head 6 of 115 HP was now available.

VIN#: R207K 4533
This is a Beautiful 1929 DeSoto 6 2 door Roadster with rumble seat.
It is an older restoration. The Desoto is yellow with black fenders and white cloth top.
The wood hoops for the top are good and the canvas top is decent.
The paint is nice, but there are sections that are peeled and do need to be repainted, particularly by the back window. It has white pinstripes to set off the yellow paint and black paint.
This DeSoto has nice original wooden spoke wheels that are in good condition with hubcaps in the centers. There is a spare tire carrier on the back.
It has a collapsible luggage rack and running board step lamps.
The trim is nice and in decent condition. Part of the rear bumper is missing.
This is a beautiful DeSoto up close and from distance, but the paint will require some attention. There are some cracks and chips and wear marks. It is a presentable driver but there will be finishing and work that will need to be done for show car quality.
The interior is tan Naugahide or pleather and is decent. There are some tears and some wear. This was the owner’s favorite car of the collection and was driven quite frequently. The dash is decent and complete. There are 54,533 miles on the odometer. A Frisco heater is installed.
Some of the dash knobs have been replaced with modern plastic ones.
The DeSoto has a flathead 6 cylinder motor with Stromberg carburetor.
The vehicle was a driver and has been in storage. It turns over and runs and decently.
The owner used to say this was a 1928 we are checking how it is titled.
This vehicle would be a good addition to any collection a very rare find.
Lot 8B Sold for $ 29,000.00.
